Orphan Title Sequence

This title sequences relates to our version as its has animation of child like drawings included with special effects to make it seen as a high budget movie maybe. The colours used in the title sequence are key to the film and the drawings are huge factor in the film.
At the beginning you can see the logo for the company on a dark background with a flicker of colour onto the screen appears then we move onto the drawings, we can see the drawings are innocent but when the bright colours are added it shows a more sinister and creepy side of how drawings can be manipulated. The music is quite dramatic and creates a seriously tense atmosphere for the start of the movie. The typography seems very simple and plain compared to the animation around the typography.

The Music for the video starts quiet but there is a sudden loud part which draws you into watching the title sequence. Then we here a sound like a beepy noise which instantly makes you look at the screen more to see what has changed. The music then begins to build up and we here a eering and sinister type of sound in the soundtrack of the video. These sounds have been added to create a tense and unsettling atmosphere. It makes you more hooked in with what has become so sinister of the drawings made originally.

The first drawings are drawn like they are photos and a bible which look completely innocent. Then we change to a second drawing of a person, a flicker part happens with fluoresent colours, the colour appears to make the drawing more disturbing.

From the picture above you can see the light is dark and gloomy and themusic helps create the whole view of the animation drawing with the colours on top making it moregraphic on achilds drawing. It then flashes up one more timeand then fades out into black.
In the third image with just have a drawing of a ribbon and then cast names change with the beep sound on the video.

The photos above show the difference of how a childs drawing is manipulated into somethingsinister. The whole image becomes colder and darker. The editing of the bright coloured drawings to the normal drawing could suggest that we are going to see glimpses of something odd at first but obviously becomes very clear that there is something wrong in a way at the end.
The last it we see a dark screen with the light in the middle and having dark edges on the shot. The title of the film appears in a very clear and almost boring typography for a thriller/horror film like this but like the rest of the title sequence there is a flash part with pink and green over the top of the title, the music builds up through out the title sequence and becomes more dramatic and eering to then set the opening scene this keeps the audiences attention throughout the title sequence and into the opening scene.
